Die Brustpartie zeigt ausreichende Tiefe, sollte sich in der Breite jedoch noch ausformen. Vor- und Hinterhand stehen richtig. Der noch jugendliche Kopf zeigt flachen Stop, das Gebiß ist vollständig, schließt zur Schere, jedoch leicht abgenutzt. Augenfarbe sollte dunkler sein. In der Bewegung greift er vorne gut aus, der Schub könnte etwas besser sein, sonst keine Fehler. Die Behaarung ist mittellang, in der Abhaarung begriffen. Sehr gute Befederung der Vorhand.

Das Fell ist tiefschwarz, Schlichthaar, auf der Kruppe leicht gewellt.
