Brust und Rumpf sind tief. Er hat einen sehr schönen Kopf mit dunklen und tief liegenden Augen. Gebiss Schere. Bei bester Pflege eine schöne, schlichte Behaarung. Das Gangwerk des Rüden ist sehr gut, doch ist eine leichte Hackenenge nicht zu übersehen.
