Written critics: Kompakter schön proportionierter dreijähriger Rüde. Tiefe und breite Brust, voller Rumpf und breiter gerader Rücken. Gut gerundete Kruppe, richtig angesetzte und gut getragene Rute. Stellung und Winkelung der Läufe einwandfrei, Gangwerk sehr gut. Kräftige kurze Kopfmodellierung mit gut angesetzten Ohren. Mittlere zwei Schneiden leicht vorgedrückt. Im Ganzen sehr ansprechender Neufundländer, leider sind die Augen etwas zu hell. Schlichtes schön gepflegtes Haar.

Written critics: Carlo ist ein zweijähriger Rüde von lang gestrecktem Körperbau, der in seinem Eindruck noch männlich genug erscheint. Die hintere Körperhälfte muss sich kräftiger entwickeln. Trotz der Länge der Wirbelsäule ist das Tier nicht überbaut und hat genügend Festigkeit. Das Gebäude ist trocken bemuskelt, die Brust reicht tief genug, sollte aber breiter sein. Die Vorhand ist gut gestellt, die Winkelung der Nachhand sollte ausgeprägter sein. Es fehlt Elastizität bei der Bewegung, die dann durch Hackenenge bestätigt wird. Die Augen des sonst guten Kopfes sind von sehr hellem Braun. Die beiden unteren Schneiden sind gekippt, sonst schließt das Gebiss zur Schere. Die Zunge hat Pigment.
