Written critics: Brauner, bärenhafter Rüde, der im Verhältnis zur Knochenstärke und Festigkeit der Muskulatur zuviel Substanz hat, worunter der gesamt Fluss der Linie leidet. Durchgedrückter Rücken, Rute etwas hoch angesetzt. Die Brust hat gute Tiefe und Breite mit vorbildlich ausgebildeter Vorbrust. Die Vorhandstellung ist in den Fesseln zu weich, die hinteren Sprunggelenke sind nicht ausreichend gewinkelt. Bei ausgreifendem Vortritt wirkt der Nachschub behindert, wobei die zu hoch getragene Rute das Bild noch weiter stört. Der Kopf zeigt typisch maskuline Prägung, die richtig angesetzten Ohren sind schön dreieckig geschnitten, gut braune Augen, Scherengebiss. Schlichte, über der Kruppe etwas offene Behaarung mit vorbildlicher Befederung der Läufe.
