Written critics: Sehr typischer Rüde, den ich jedoch schon in besserer Kondition gesehen habe. Kräftiges Skelett, Hals und Rückenlinie gut, Kruppe und Rutenhaltung ohne Tadel. Vorhand gut gewinkelt. Nachhand wirkt etwas steil, wirkt hinten etwas höher. In den Fesseln leicht nachgebend. Gangwerk vorn ausgreifend, durch Hackenenge Nachschub etwas gehemmt. Kopf sehr gut, Augen dunkel, Gebiss Schere. Behaarung schlicht und gute Pflege.

Written critics: Ikarus zeigt sich als ein typischer, etwas elegant wirkender Rüde von mittlerer Größe mit fließenden Außenlinien und korrekt gegliedertem Skelett. Die Brust hat die richtige Tiefe und Breite. die Stellung und Winkelung der Läufe sind einwandfrei, ein Vorteil, der in den flüssigen Bewegungen besonders zum Ausdruck kommt. Sehr edle, maskuline Kopfprägung, dunkelbraune Augen, Scherengebiss. Schlichte, über der Kruppe etwas offene Behaarung, im Wechsel. Durch die Abhaarung kann Ikarus seine ohne Zweifel vorhandenen Vorzüge nicht voll zur Geltung bringen.

Brust tief und breit, Vor- und Nachhand ohne Tadel, gelöstes Gangwerk, hinten etwas hakeneng tretend. Sehr edel modellierter Kopf, Lefzen zu loben, ebenso Ohrenhaltung. Dunkelbraune Augen, korrektes Scherengebiss, Prämolaren vollzählig, Lefzen etwas gewölbt, Behaarung zu loben in Schlichtheit und Pigment, auch im Wechsel. Bester Schwarzer der Klasse.
