Written critics: Ein imposanter kräftiger Rüde mit allen Merkmalen eines typischen Neufundländers, dessen Gesamtbild lediglich durch leichten Durchtritt der Vorderhand und schlecht gewinkelte Hinterhand mit mangelndem Nachschub beeinträchtigt wird. Der Kopf, Ohrenansatz und Farbe der etwas runden Augen sind gut, ebenso wie Rücken, Rute und Ansatz und Kruppe, sowie die gesamte Skelettierung. Dagegen fehlt es der Brust an Breite und das Gebiß zeigt Zange, 1,1 vorstehend.

Written critics: Dieser Rüde zeigt eine ganz vorzügliche harmonische Linienführung in seiner typischen Gesamterscheinung, die lediglich durch eine sichtbar starke Abhaarung etwas beeinträchtigt wird. An dem ausgezeichnet modellierten Kopf ist nur die Farbe der Augen zu beanstanden, die wir uns etwas dunkler wünschen, und die so häufig zum Vorbiß neigenden zwei mittleren Schneidezähne zu erwähnen. Etwas tiefer stehend als der Vorhergenannte, im Gangwerk federnd und frei gehend, zeigt sich uns ein außerordentlich ansprechender, typisch zur Spitzenklasse gehörender Rüde.
