Steil gehoekt voor, goed gehoekt achter, sterke bekkenhelling, breed lichaam. Uitmuntende vachtconditie, goede staart. Gaat met niet zoveel stuwkracht, teveel verzameld en erg wijd en los voor. Als hij beter gangwerk had gehad, dan was het een "U" geweest, nu een" zeer goed.
